The AIDA UL was designed to prevent the shimmy motion of the slide or the rotating moment of the crankshaft. The arrangement ofeight zero-clearance spherical shoe type gibs on the slide allows high-precision forming.

A Press Machine More Accurate than the Die
The shimmy motion of the slide caused by shocks at the time of punching, vertical motion of the slide by off-center loading and breakthrough (snap-through) during stamping operation have been eliminated thanks to the UL Series single point center suspension con-rod-less design. This design enables the AIDA Precision Forming UL Press to well suited for progressive die, transfer and fine blanking operations as well as cold forging.
